Desulfurization pumps are usually horizontal cantilever single-stage single-suction centrifugal pumps, designed and developed for transporting corrosive media containing fine particles. The common materials of desulfurization pumps are plastic pumps (UHMW-PE, etc.) and metal pumps (Cr30, 2507, etc.). The overflow materials require wear resistance, corrosion resistance and impact resistance (because of desulfurization pumps). There is no valve at the outlet. In order to prevent the huge water hammer effect of liquid, the pump body is required to withstand impact and temperature (generally from minus 20 degrees to 90 degrees). In the north, there is no external cooling water system for the seal, and the pump body is required to provide self-cooling.
